Anatoly Gladun

Dr. Anatoly Gladun is Head of Department of Intelligent Systems at the IRTCentre of Information Technologies and Systems (National Academy of Sciences and Ministry of Education of Ukraine).
He is an Associate Professor of Intelligence Systems and Nets at Kyiv European University ( http://e-u.in.ua/eng/ ).
He holds a PhD in Department of Computer Sciences at the Electrotechnical University (Saint-Petersburg, Russia). He is a chairman of subcommittee SC-6 “Telecommunication and information exchange between systems» of Ukrainian technical committee on standardization «Information technologies» (TC-20). He has been involved in several national and internal research projects (FP5), for example, INCO-Copernicus Project 960114 – EXPERNET "A distributed Expert System for the Management of the National Network”, Grant NATO NIG 971779. "National Telecommunication Networks for Scientific and Educational Institutions” – URAN, ATM-Sat Project “ATM-Based Multimedia Communication” (in GMD FOKUS, Berlin, 2000-2001) etc. Several national research projects, for example, “Research of intellectualization means for multi-agent information retrieval systems”.
He is the author of more than a 150 publications in conferences, journals and books. His research interests include the development and application of knowledge technologies to different fields such as e-Medicine, e-Commerce, e-Learning, Retrieval Systems, Network Management. His research interests include the Intelligent Software Agents (models, architectures, methodologies of development) and their Application for Information Retrieval and E-commerce; Network Management and Semantic Web, Semantic Web Services, Ontologies, Wireless Technologies, WiFi, IEEE802.16 WiMAX, Handover, Next Generation Networks, Performance Analyses of Telecommunications (Petri networks), SOA, SOC, GRID, Ontological Analyses, Knowledge Management.
